Lucky me.
I was fortunate enough to get to spend yesterday afternoon hanging out with Holly Black and Cassandra Clare.
I met Holly last year at Book Expo and discovered she's pals with my friends Kelly and Gavin.
So when I heard she and Cassie were coming to Ann Arbor on tour for their new books, I sent her an email asking if she wanted to hang out.
She did, and I found myselves accompanying Holly and Cassie on their adventures - delivering books to a fan in the hospital and hunting down a handful of Ann Arbor's fairy doors.
They are awful nice folks and if I haven't mentioned it a million times, Tithe is one of my favorite books of all time. Highly recommended and highly inspirational in my attempt to write.
