I've spent the last ten days focused on completing the first draft of the vampire book (no title yet) and tonight I'm wrapping up the last three chapters. It's coming out surprisingly well - I'm pleased with the first draft and know that some polish and a couple other sets of eyes will make it even better.
The book will be illustrated (done sketchbook style, as if it were the journal of a teenager). Contracts aren't signed yet (hopefully will be this week) but I'm very excited about the art team. The tentative plan is to have ten full page illustrations, 22 pieces of spot art and original cover art. More to come as plans are finalized this week.
The book is due in stores June.
