The Spectrum Awards have been announced and I'm despondent, knowing I won't have a copy of Spectrum 15 until Fall of 2008.
I am geeked to see that James Jean won the "Comics" and "Best In Show" for his fabulous Fables illustration: The Good Prince (above).
Also good to see Daniel Dociu, Stephan Martiniere and Phil Hale in the list. I know it's ass-backwards, but while I have a soft spot for Brom's gothy, melodramatic paintings, I don't much like the repetition in John Jude Palencar's portfolio.
